About us
The Stanford Design Family
Stanford Design is an independent kitchen retailer, owned and managed by brothers Ken and Richard Addison. Their Dad owned a kitchen factory, manufacturing has always been in their blood, and they frequently assisted and began to learn the trade from a very young age. With experience in kitchen design and manufacture, the brothers also spent many years working across Europe as part of the same install team for one of Britishy’s leading kitchen manufacturers, before returning home to the UK with the desire to open their own mid-high end kitchen showroom in Upminster.
The Team & Our Ethos
Following family tradition, brothers, Ken and Richard now have grown up children of their own, with one of their sons working in the factory, and another working in installation. Also part of this dedicated team, they have 3 highly experienced kitchen designers, who thrive on producing inspiring kitchen designs to suit each client and their specific needs.
All of the Stanford team share the same drive to deliver excellent customer service, with this being central to all that we do. We recognise the trust that our clients place in us when ordering a kitchen and appreciate that having a new kitchen designed and installed can appear, at times, to be a daunting prospect. We offer a no obligation design service and at every stage we want our customers to feel involved, informed and confident in every decision made.
